These Terms of Service ("Terms") constitute a legally binding agreement between you and LimeForge ("Company," "we," "us," or "our") governing your access to and use of our Shopify applications, including AgeVerify, and our website at limeforge.io (collectively, the "Services").

By installing our apps or using our Services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use our Services.

2. Description of Services

LimeForge provides Shopify applications designed to help merchants enhance their online stores. Our current offerings include:

• AgeVerify: An age verification solution for stores selling age-restricted products

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of our Services at any time with reasonable notice.

3. Account Registration and Eligibility

To use our Services, you must:

• Be at least 18 years of age
• Have a valid Shopify store account
• Provide accurate and complete information
• Maintain the security of your account credentials
• Accept all terms required by Shopify's Terms of Service

You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. AgeVerify Specific Terms

By using AgeVerify, you acknowledge and agree that:

• AgeVerify is a compliance assistance tool and does not guarantee legal compliance
• You are solely responsible for ensuring your store complies with all applicable age verification laws and regulations in your jurisdiction
• AgeVerify does not verify actual identity or age documents
• You must consult with legal counsel regarding your specific compliance requirements
• The effectiveness of age verification depends on proper configuration and use

5. Pricing and Payment

Our apps offer both free and paid tiers:

• Free Plan: Basic features at no cost
• Pro Plan: Premium features for $4.99/month (or current pricing as displayed)

Payment terms:

• All payments are processed through Shopify's billing system
• Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance
• Prices are subject to change with 30 days' notice
• All fees are exclusive of applicable taxes

6. Cancellation and Refunds

You may cancel your subscription at any time through the Shopify admin panel or by contacting us. Upon cancellation:

• You will retain access to paid features until the end of your current billing period
• Your account will revert to the free plan after the billing period ends
• No prorated refunds are provided for unused time

7. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use our Services for any illegal purpose or in violation of any laws
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract source code from our apps
• Interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of our Services
• Attempt to gain unauthorized access to our systems or networks
• Use our Services to transmit malware or malicious code
• Resell, sublicense, or redistribute our Services without authorization
• Use our Services in a manner that could damage our reputation

8. Intellectual Property

All content, features, and functionality of our Services, including but not limited to software, text, graphics, logos, and icons, are owned by LimeForge and protected by intellectual property laws.

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use our Services in accordance with these Terms. This license does not include the right to modify, copy, distribute, or create derivative works.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

OUR SERVICES ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO:

• Warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose
• Warranties that the Services will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure
• Warranties regarding the accuracy or reliability of results obtained
• Warranties that defects will be corrected

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, LIMEFORGE SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR:

• Any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages
• Any loss of profits, revenue, data, or business opportunities
• Any damages arising from your use or inability to use our Services
• Any third-party claims arising from your use of our Services

Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless LimeForge and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses (including reasonable attorney's fees) arising from your use of our Services, violation of these Terms, or violation of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to our Services at any time for any reason, including:

• Violation of these Terms
• Non-payment of fees
• Requests by law enforcement
• Discontinuation of our Services

Upon termination, your right to use our Services will immediately cease.

13. Governing Law and Disputes

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction where LimeForge operates, without regard to conflict of law principles.

Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of our Services shall be resolved through binding arbitration, except where prohibited by law.

14. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of material changes by posting the updated Terms on our website and updating the "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our Services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
