Our Commitment

At LimeForge, we want you to be completely satisfied with our products. We offer a free tier for all our apps so you can test functionality before subscribing to premium features. If our premium features don't meet your needs, we offer a fair refund policy.

Subscription Plans

Free Plan

Our free plans are completely free and require no payment. There is nothing to refund for free plans.

Pro/Paid Plans

Paid subscriptions are billed monthly through Shopify's billing system. You can upgrade, downgrade, or cancel at any time through your Shopify admin panel.

Refund Eligibility

Eligible for Refund

  • First payment within the last 7 days (100% refund)
  • Technical issues that prevent the app from functioning and cannot be resolved by our support team
  • Features not working as described in our documentation
  • Accidental duplicate charges or billing errors
  • App was installed but never activated or used (within 14 days)

Not Eligible for Refund

  • Change of mind after the 7-day satisfaction period
  • Failure to read or follow app documentation
  • Issues caused by third-party apps or theme conflicts (we'll help troubleshoot though!)
  • Store closure or change of business
  • Requests made more than 30 days after the charge

How to Request a Refund

To request a refund, please follow these steps:

  1. Contact our support team at support@limeforge.io or through our contact form
  2. Provide your store URL and the email associated with your Shopify account
  3. Explain the reason for your refund request
  4. Allow 3-5 business days for us to review and process your request

Refund Processing

Once approved, refunds are processed as follows:

  • Refunds are issued through Shopify's billing system
  • Credits appear on your Shopify bill within 5-10 business days
  • Refunds are applied as account credits toward future Shopify charges
  • You will receive email confirmation when the refund is processed

Cancellation vs. Refund

Understanding the difference:

Cancellation

Stops future billing. You keep access until the end of your current billing period. No refund is issued for the remaining time.

Refund

Returns payment for charges that meet our refund eligibility criteria. Access may be revoked immediately upon refund.

AgeVerify Specific Terms

Additional considerations for AgeVerify:

  • We recommend using the free plan first to ensure compatibility with your store
  • Pro features can be tested with a free trial (when available)
  • If AgeVerify doesn't display correctly due to theme conflicts, contact support before requesting a refund — we often can resolve these issues
  • Analytics data and settings are retained for 30 days after uninstall in case you return

Disputes and Chargebacks

We encourage you to contact us directly before initiating a chargeback or dispute with your payment provider. Chargebacks result in additional fees and may affect your standing with Shopify. We're committed to resolving issues fairly and promptly.
