Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Do I need to edit any code?

A: No. MinimumCart uses Shopify's native theme block system. Just add the block through the theme editor.

Q: Does MinimumCart slow down my store?

A: No. The progress bar CSS and JavaScript are loaded only on the cart page. Total size is under 15KB and analytics are sent asynchronously.

Q: What themes are supported?

A: MinimumCart works with all Shopify themes that support theme app extensions (Online Store 2.0), including Dawn, Refresh, Horizon, Tinker, and most third-party themes.

Q: Can I have different minimums for different customers?

A: Yes, with the Pro plan. Use customer tag conditions to create different rules for wholesale, VIP, or any customer group.

Q: What currencies does MinimumCart support?

A: MinimumCart uses whatever currency your Shopify store uses. The progress bar displays values in your store's currency format.

Q: Does it work with cart drawer apps?
